When We Are Closed

Between the hours of 18:00 and 08:00 the surgery's telephone will not be accessible and the out of hours service must be contacted in emergency situations.  To access emergency services during this time you must initially telephone the surgery.  A recorded message will give you the telephone number (111)

When contacting 111 it is important that you give the telephonist all the information he/she requests.  From that information, they will either advise you over the telephone, ask you to attend at Primary Care Clinic or ask a doctor to visit your home.

NHS 111

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed between 18:00 and 08:00, all day Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays you will need to redial 111 to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
