To request an urgent appointment for today (Monday to Friday):
- phone us on 0161 223 9229, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm
- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.
Routine appointments
To request a routine appointment in the few weeks:
- phone us on 0161 223 9229, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm
- Click here to complete the Online Consultation form. If an appointment is required, we will get back to you to book an appointment
- use the GP online system – Patient Access or NHS App
Patient Access
- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App) to book a screening test or vaccination

Contact your doctor online or get health advice
Click here to complete the Online Consultation form. You DO NOT need to log in, simply complete the form, add your contact details to the form at the end and click SUBMIT. Online Consult functionality can only be used between Monday 8.00am and Friday 5.00pm.
What happens next?
The information you add to the form is triaged by our admin team and then directed to the appropriate clinician. You can always request a GP of your choice. (please add this to the notes at the end)
You will get a telephone call or an appointment within 72hrs of contract to discuss your problem.
Can I only complete the form when you are open?
You can complete the form at any time day or night during the week excluding weekends. We do not currently offer the option of filling out forms during the weekend. Out of hours services provide GP appointments during this time.
Who can fill out the form?
A form can be completed yourself, by a family member, neighbour or friend. As long as the contact details added to the form are for the registered patient.
Your appointment
However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:
- by phone
- face to face at the surgery
- on a video call
- by text or email
Appointments by phone, video call or by text or email can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
To cancel your appointment:
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- using the GP online system – Patient Access
- phone us on 0161 223 9229, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm
- reply CANCEL to your appointment reminder text message
Should a patient fail to attend their face to face appointment without cancelling, a first warning letter will be issued.
If the patient fails to attend a second appointment within a 12-month period, and should there be no reasonable mitigating circumstances, a further letter will be sent to the patient.
Should the patient then fail to attend a third appointment within the same 12-month period, a decision will be made by the GP partners and the Practice Manager as to whether the patient is to be removed from the practice list.
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
If you need help with your appointment
Please tell us:
- if there’s a specific doctor, nurse or other health professional you would prefer to respond
- if you would prefer to consult with the doctor or nurse by phone, face-to-face, by video call or by text or email
- if you need an interpreter
- if you have any other access or communication needs
Home visits
If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will do a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need.
To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone the practice as soon after 8am as possible.
